
Judy Cromwell

Judy Cromwell has worked in the field of special education for over 16 years. Currently she is a special education teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools. She has experience in both inclusion co-teaching and self-contained instructional. models for middle school mathematics. Since working in Montgomery county Judy has also effectively taught middle school resource classes with a focus on providing academic support for developing and improving skills in all academic areas and executive functioning including organization, self-management, and attention.
Prior to working for MCPS Judy worked for 12 years at the Katherine Thomas School in Rockville, MD. While there she taught elementary classes 2nd through 5th grades. She also taught middle school Math and English Language Arts. During her time at KTS also served as the Student Support Specialist, developing and supporting IEP’s for students from kindergarten through high school. This included developing goals, monitoring progress, analyzing data, and attending meetings. Judy also acted as the summer school coordinator during her tenure at KTS.
Judy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Drew University and a Master of Education in special education from Marymount University. Judy has experience working with students at a variety of levels and is committed to helping students reach their full potential.
