Our academic tutors are all highly trained , Masters-level teachers who bring a range of skills and experience to their work. All tutors are, or have been, certified classroom teachers and continue to enhance their sills with ongoing training.

Tutoring sessions are approximately one hour in length and are targeted interventions to support the curricula areas and goals that the tutor and parent have jointly identified. We incorporate a range of interventions along with teaching principles that are noted as best practice.

The process involves gathering a baseline student profile in the identified area of need with ongoing progress monitoring. We communicate goals, strategies and concerns to families as necessary.

Our tutors take the time to collaborate with school teams and participate in planning for students IEP if requested. The majority of our services are delivered in well equipped and child-friendly offices. At times, home visits can be conducted.
